When I started with the cold brew coffee, I was on the verge of a breakdown (metaphorically speaking). I didn’t want to leap my home kitchen out on a blazing hot summer day to quench my cold coffee craving.
In fact, I was looking for a shortcut with zero compromise on the iconic store-bought like cold coffee. This was exactly when I met these quick and easy stash of recipes that I can lean on for the entire summer.
You can surely try these out if you are looking for lavish and refreshing cold brew coffee recipes and that too without breaking your bank. Thank me later!
1. Cold Brew Coffee
Preparation Time: 10 mins
Starting with the basics, this one is an absolute necessity! Your cold brew can actually taste really nasty if it’s been sitting too long on in the pot or just too weak or bland. Wonder why? This is because coffee has a blend of acids like acetic, malic and phosphoric acid which tend to make the coffee taste horrible if it is not brewed adequately.
If you want to minimize your chances of your cold brew coffee turning out bad, follow this simple and quick recipe for a perfect cup of joe!
What will you need?
- Water
- Cheesecloth
- Strainer
- Coffee grounds (coarse)
- Mason Jar
Instructions to do it:
- For a regular brew, pour 4 cups of water into the pitcher and then add the coffee. Keeping the ratio of coffee to water 1:8.
- Mix the coffee and water well by stirring. This will help to get the brewing process started.
- Refrigerate for at least 15 hours.
- Take a strainer and coat the cheesecloth on it.
- Now strain the refrigerated mixture through this cheesecloth coated strainer in a mason jar.
- Add milk or water to this stained cold-brewed coffee blend and serve!
Please Note: You can store this cold coffee brew in a sealed container for up to 3 days.

What will you need?
- Honey (3/4th of a cup)
- Vanilla extract
- Cinnamon sticks (3)
- Water (3/4th of a cup)
For Serving:
- Whole milk
- Ground cinnamon
- Ice cubes
- Cold brew coffee (concentrate)
Instructions to do it:
- Take a small saucepan and place it over medium-high heat. Now, add honey, cinnamon sticks and water to it. Stir frequently till the honey gets well dissolved in the water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil. Turn the heat low and let the mixture simmer for at least 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat source and add the vanilla extract.
- Leave the mixture to cool down.
- Discard the cinnamon sticks.
- You can store this syrup in a refrigerator and use whenever needed.
How to serve:
- Add ice cubes to a glass. Now pour in the cold brew coffee, milk and the honey cinnamon syrup you prepared. Mix well.
- Take a pinch of cinnamon and sprinkle on this blend.
- Serve as soon as ready!

Since I tried it a couple of years ago, I still haven’t gotten over this fun combo of marshmallow and coffee melting in my mouth, ahh delicious!
Do you know that marshmallow whipped cream is a thing? If not, then you are just about to discover it!
What will you need?
- Milk (chocolate flavored)
- Sugar (powdered)
- Marshmallows (chopped into bits)
- Graham cracker (crushed)
- Iced coffee
- Whipped cream
Instructions to do it:
- Take a medium-sized bowl, pour in the whipping cream and beat until soft peaks start forming.
- Take a tablespoon of the powdered sugar and add it to this medium-sized bowl, keep beating till stiff peaks start forming.
- Now, add the marshmallows and fold them in.
- Take a mason jar, add the iced coffee and chocolate milk to it.
- Top this duo with the marshmallow whipped cream.
- Finally, sprinkle the crushed graham crackers to make it look.
- Serve immediately!
4. Toasted Coconut Cold Brew Coffee
Preparation Time: 1 day
Rule of Thumb: No compromise on cool delish treats in the summers! And I swear by this because I really need some savory motivation to get me through a long day in Mid-May. Creating some great tasting cold-brewed coffee infusions that are easy on my wallet is like creating happiness at home!
This is to be prepared in a batch so you can enjoy this tasty treat for up to 3 days! It does take a day to prepare, but I cannot sing enough praise songs for this one.
Just a few simple steps to a cool toasty caffeinated beverage to quench your thirst and coffee craving… like the idea? Then let’s get to it!
What will you need?
- Coffee (coarsely ground, 16 ounces)
- Sweet coconut shreds (1 cup)
- Water (cold, 9 cups)
Instructions to do it:
- Take a pan and put it over medium-low heat.
- Add the sweet coconut shreds to the pan, do not add oil as coconut is already moist.
- Stir the shreds till they turn toasty brown and smell like heaven!
- In this recipe we will be using a toddy to make a cold brew, so, firstly, you will need to clean the toddy’s filter by rinsing it and placing it in the bottom part of your Toddy.
- The plug needs to be inserted from the outside rather than the inside so that you can pull it out once it is full of coffee.
- Pour the coarsely grounded coffee into the Toddy alongside the toasted shreds and stir them together.
- Now start adding water, slowly to the grounds pausing every 1 minute till you are done putting in two cups.
- Make sure the grounds are soaked well with water so no grounds could leave dry.
- Now, just cover this with a plastic wrap and let it sit for at least 15 hours.
- Take the glass jar and hold the toddy over it and just pull the plug.
- Stir the grounds if you need the draining process to speed up.
- You can pour this toasty cold brew concentrate out in a glass.
- Add milk to it if you like, or just enjoy it solo. It’s going to taste great, both ways!
5. Toasted Coconut and Iced Rum Coffee

What will you need?
- Coconut flakes (1 and a half cup, sweetened)
- Coconut milk (14 ounces, full fat)
- Sugar (dark brown, 1/3rd of a cup)
- Whipped Cream (half a cup)
- Toasted coconut (to garnish)
- Cold-brewed coffee (one cup)
Instructions to do it:
- Set the oven at 350F and pre-heat it. Now, take a sheet pan and spread the coconut flakes on it. Put this sheet pan in the oven for 5 minutes. Take it out, stir a little and keep it back in for another 5 minutes till the shreds turn golden and it smells toasted. Let it cool.
- Take a saucepan and set it on medium heat, now add coconut milk to it. Add the toasted coconut flakes and bring this mixture to a boil. Turn the heat to low and let this mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
- Turn the heat off and remove the saucepan from the heat source and allow this mixture to steep for at least 20 minutes.
- Strain out the mixture so that the coconut flakes are left behind.
- Your creamer is ready! Pour it out in a jar.
- Take a tall glass and add the toasted creamer (1 spoon) to it.
- Add the rum (1 ounce) and one cup of the cold-brewed coffee.
- Put in some ice cubes. Top with whipped cream and the toasted coconut flakes.
- Serve immediately!
6. Paleo Lavender Iced Coffee
Preparation Time: 10 mins

How you may ask? Because this wonderful earthy drink is a rich paleo decadent treat which stirs up under 10 minutes and is low on the sugar content. Yes! This means you can treat-yo-self with this drink without being conscious about the ingredients as you exactly know what’s indulging in!
What will you need? (For Cold Brew)
- Filtered water (one quart cold)
- Coffee (coarsely grounded, 1 cup)
- Jar
What will you need? (For Lavender Infused Milk)
- Almond milk
- Vanilla extract
- Lavender (dried, 2 tbsps.
Instructions to do it (For Cold Brew):
- Put one cup of coarsely grounded coffee into a clean container.
- Pour in the 1 quart of cold, filtered water.
- Ensure all grounds are thoroughly wet, stir with a spoon.
- You can put this mixture into the fridge for 12 hours and use it whenever you are in the mood for a treat!
Instructions to do it (For Lavender Infused Milk):
- Get hold of a small saucepan and put it over medium-low heat.
- Add almond milk (10 oz), vanilla extract (1 tbsp), and 2tbsp of dried lavender.
- Simmer this mixture for a good 10 minutes while stirring continuously so that the milk doesn’t burn out.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat source and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Use a sieve to strain out this milk and lavender mixture into a tall glass.

Preparation Time: 60 mins
I have a no-stress approach to entertaining or cooking, and that’s why I always look for something which is fun yet easy.
This slightly creamy and sweet cold brew beverage won’t need you sacrificing all your time and energy which you could use to connect with your family. It is simple, delicious, and pretty healthy too!
What will you need?
- Half and half cream (2 cups)
- Vanilla Bean (1)
- Irish cream (4 ounces)
- Kahlua (4 ounces)
- Strong coffee (4 ounces)
Instruction to do it?
- Take a large glass container, add the strong coffee to it, and set it aside in the refrigerator to cool.
- Take another container that can be put in the freezer. Add cream to it and the vanilla beans ( scrapping the insides).
- Whisk these two ingredients well and also add the Irish cream.
- To the cooled coffee, add Kahlua and stir well.
- Put both these containers into the freezer for 45 minutes.
- Take the container out 2-three times, checking if they have turned slushy.
- Once the mixture in both the containers is slushy take them out.
- Take a tall glass, half fill it with the coffee slush followed by the cream slush.
- Pop in a straw and enjoy!

A much healthier version of the boba bubbled iced coffee with simple ingredients and a simple technique at home. Why shell out $7 for sugar rush when you can bring the brewing home and that to at a fraction of the calories plus the costs?
You will definitely develop an appreciation for this all-natural flavor in a single beverage which is very indulgent by the way!
What will you need?
- Coconut sugar (1 cup)
- Water (half a cup)
- Boba (2 tbsps.)
- Black tapioca pearls (1/3rd of a cup)
- Cold Brew Coffee Boba
- Cold Brew Coffee (a quarter of a cup)
- Pure maple syrup (1 tbsp.)
Instruction to do it?
- Take a saucepan, and put it over medium heat, add water to it and bring it to boil.
- To this boiling water, add 1 cup of coconut sugar.
- Keep stirring the water and sugar together till they well combine, this will take 5 minutes.
- Once it forms into a syrup texture, remove the pan from the heat source and let it cool.
- Store in a jar and refrigerate.
- Take two cups of water for every quarter cup of boba you wish to make, in a saucepan bring the water to a boil and add the boba to it.
- Keep stirring till the boba comes up to the surface and floats. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the pearls sit for 15 minutes to cool.
- Drain out the water and put the boba in container.
- Add the coconut sugar syrup to the boba till they are completely submerged.
- Let this mix sit got 20 minutes.
- Take a mason jar, mix the quarter cup of cold brew to half a cup of milk, put in some ice cubes, boba 2 tablespoons, and the maple syrup.
- Pop in a straw and enjoy on a hot summer day!

Preparation Time: 5 mins
When summers are winding down and you just need a mood booster, this is the kind of treat which is definitely a deal-breaker for low-key days. The epitome of happiness is just a few easy steps and some yummy creamy ingredients away!
What will you need?
- Vanilla Ice cream (2 full scoops)
- Whipping cream (heavy, half a cup)
- Vanilla extract (1 tsp.)
- Espresso ground (1/8th of a cup)
- Sugar (granulated, 1 tsp.)
- Cold-brewed coffee (1 cup)
- Waffle cone wafers (to garnish)
Instruction to do it?
- Take a medium-sized bowl and add the espresso powder, heavy cream, and the vanilla extract to it.
