1. Ninja CE251 Programmable Brewer, with 12-cup Glass Carafe
If you are looking for something simple, you’ll enjoy this coffee maker we’re rounding up first. It can make 12 cups and is programmable.
What we like about it, is that it has precise temperature control which is always good for a coffee maker because you want to have your coffee as soon as possible. There is a cool unique feature that we like about this coffee maker and that is the flavor straw. What it does is, it pushes the coffee to the bottom of the cafere. That means hot coffee is circulated and you can enjoy a full-strength coffee every time you pour.
There is an automatic mid brew pause which means the brew basket closes so that there’s no coffee that is going on the warming plate.
Keep in mind, if you fill up the reservoir completely, it will USE the whole thing, so if you’re just doing a couple of cups, it may taste watery. Simply adjust your water according to how many cups you’ll have.
Overall, it’s a great basic coffee maker that belongs to anyone who wants simple and easy.
- Easy to use
- Flavor straw
- Coffee tastes good
- Coffee can be watery if you put too much in reservoir
2. Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker, with 50 Oz Glass Carafe
If you are low on space and you’re wanting a specialty coffee maker, this one by Ninja will certainly make your day. This model is available in a glass or thermal cafere. Both types offer 50-ounce (10 cups).
A unique feature about this coffee maker is that it’s similar to a Keirug, where you can put in a cup and literally just push the button. Super convenient right? All you need to do is put the coffee grounds in the permanent filter and just select your cup size/brew. It’s really that simple.
But that’s not the only feature it has. It also has the specialty brew option where you can get four ounces of concentrated coffee that can be comparable like espresso. There’s also a milk frother, if you want to whip hot or cold milk. If you’re craving iced coffee, there is an Over Ice brew which makes us happy because doing it the traditional way can take a longer time. The Over Ice feature uses less water, giving you actual coffee when it’s done brewing to enjoy your iced coffee.
This specialty coffee maker is perfect for those who’re short on space and want a coffee machine that has features.
- Has features
- Comes in either glass or thermal
- It has a lower brewing temperature which may affect your hot coffee needs
3. Ninja Hot and Cold Brewed System
The Hot and Cold Brewed System is very similar to the Specialty coffee maker as far as the features. The large difference is the cold brew setting this coffee maker has which we will talk more about in detail.
Cold brew coffee is becoming more popular because it’s a stronger coffee taste and it’s often sweeter. It’s also refreshing, especially on a hot day. To use the cold brew setting, you only need to heat the water up to 110 degrees F. While it still doesn’t taste like a cold true brew (takes at least 12 hours the traditional way), it’ll taste very similar, and you can enjoy it in as little as 15 minutes.
This coffee maker is also great for tea because when you are using the cold brew option, the brew basket closes, so that the warm water will stay in to truly let the coffee grounds steep. As we’ve mentioned, it’s great for tea because this coffee maker comes with 2 permanent filters, one for coffee, one for tea.
The coffee maker has technology where it can sense a tea filter being put in, so the tea menu will come up for you to make your selection. Certain types of tea are already pre-programmed, such as green tea, herbal, white, black and oolong.
This coffee maker is for anyone who wants it all and the convenience.
- Tons of features just like specialty coffee maker
- Can make tea as it’s pre-programmed
- No auto stop brewing option
- Small water reservoir tank

It has all the features of the Ninja Specialty model and it comes with 6 brew sizes. It has the same 50 oz (10 cups) capacity as the Specialty, and it even has a permanent coffee filter for coffee only.
This model is for someone who would like the older version of the Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker.
- Same features as Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker
- Hard to find online for sale
Is the Ninja coffee maker worth it?
Yes, because you can use the programmable features that’s on most of them to make that perfect cup of coffee.
Which is better, Ninja or Keurig?
Keurig uses K-cups and has a lot of features with their machines but it still can’t be matched with Ninja. Ninja also has a lot of features, and you can also wake up in the morning to your coffee on some models, which Keurig can’t do. The Ninja is also a little more environmentally friendly as it has permanent coffee/tea filters, whereas Keriug has cups that you must throw away when it’s empty and you’ll have to replace. It’s also helpful knowing that there’s less reports of the Ninja coffee makers being a bit more durable than Keriug and slightly cheaper which means good value for money.
For coffee makers, Ninja wins hands down.
